SEC v. BKCoin Management, LLC, et al.

Case No. 23-20719-Civ-SCOLA (U.S. District Court, S.D. Fla.)

Pursuant to the Court’s April 10, 2025 Order granting the Receiver’s Motion to Extend Claims Bar Date By Thirty-Five Days [ECF No. 218], the new deadline for Claimants to submit a Proof of Claim Form is extended through and including May 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time). The Receiver filed this motion after it came to his attention that a computer glitch, that has since been resolved, may have impacted the submission of some claims.

If you submitted a Proof of Claim Form and supporting documents and DID NOT receive an email from the Receiver’s office confirming their receipt, your Proof of Claim Form and supporting documents were NOT RECEIVED. If you did not receive an email from the Receiver’s office confirming the receipt of your documents, you must forward your original email with your Proof of Claim Form and supporting documents to the Receiver or resubmit your documents by email to bkcoin@akerman.com NO LATER THAN 11:59 p.m. (prevailing eastern time) on May 12, 2025.

If you submitted your Proof of Claim Form and supporting documents to the Receiver and received an email from the Receiver’s office confirming their receipt, you may disregard this notice as your claim has been received by the Receiver.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in the above case has ordered that all creditors of BKCoin Management, LLC, BKCoin Capital, LP, BK Offshore Fund, Ltd., BKCoin Multi-Strategy Master Fund, Ltd., BKCoin Multi-Strategy Fund, LP, BKCoin Multi-Strategy Fund, Ltd., and Bison Digital LLC (collectively, the “Receivership Entities”) in this case must submit a Proof of Claim form prior to the extended deadline below to be considered eligible to receive a distribution from the Receivership Estate being administered by Michael I. Goldberg, the Court-Appointed Receiver.

DEADLINE/BAR DATE: All Proofs of Claim MUST be submitted NO LATER THAN 11:59 p.m. (prevailing eastern time) on May 12, 2025 (the “Extended Claims Bar Date”).

A properly completed and signed Proof of Claim Form, together with supporting documentation, must be timely submitted to the Receiver by email to bkcoin@akerman.com.

The Notice of Extended Claims Bar Date and the Proof of Claim Form are available on the Claims Process page.

Failure to submit a Proof of Claim Form prior to the Extended Claims Bar Date will result in your claim against the Receivership Entities being forever barred and you will not be allowed to receive a distribution from the Receivership Estate.
